I'm trying to install Hylafax 4.2.5 on Ubuntu 6.06. My modem is a Multitech PCI 5634ZPX. The firmware is 1.32k.
When I run faxaddmodem, there is no problem during the configuration with the choice of class 1, 2 and 2.1, but I'm unable to configure the modem for the use of class 1.0. Each time I set class to 1.0, I have this error :

I also tried an installation of Hylafax 2.4.3 with Ubuntu 6.10, but the problem is the same.
I want to use Class 1.0 because I've read many people who advice to use class 1.0 with this modem. So, how could I have a prototype configuration file which uses the configuration skel lucent-mt-1.0 ?
