Re: [hylafax-users] problems with hosts.hfaxd
You mention identical md5sum, but how about permissions and ownership? Are
they both uucp.uucp, mode 600?

Subject: [hylafax-users] problems with hosts.hfaxd
I have two servers running 4.3.0. The /.../hylafax/etc/hosts.hfaxd files on
these servers are identical (tested with md5sum). The hosts.hfaxd file
contains an entry for the user "test".
Using telnet server1 4559 I am able to login with the user test and the
supplied password. When I try the same thing on server2 I always get "530
Login incorrect". I have restarted hylafax on server2 to force it to reload
the hosts.hfaxd and that hasn't helped.
Shouldn't I be able to use the same hosts.hfaxd file on different machines?
Here is the hosts.hfaxd file:
localhost
127.0.0.1
^test@::q9T7yqTFPa/OY
Any ideas?
