I actually got ttyG0 appearing in the faxstat status output now. All I did
was change the "GettyArgs:" in the config.ttyG0 to ""

Ok, I've got them all appearing now, yee haa!

The problem was the run level in inittab. It was default to 5, to I changed
the faxgetty's to :2345:

No, it's not particularly bad, but it's unnecessary.  faxgetty usage 
obsoletes faxmodem.
