Hi,
Up to now we used the Multitech PCI and external fax-modem but we got
always the same adaptive-answer problem and after several mails to
support, international and french, stay no answered, we are looking
for the must supported PCI and external fax-modem for Hylafax.
We are interested by your experiences.
Thanks in advance.
Sam.
Sam,
I've used multitech for years with Mgetty and adaptive answer. The
getty args I use are
GettyArgs: "-b -r %l"
and the adaptive answer string is:
ModemSetupAACmd: AT+FAA=1;+FCLASS=0
Sorry but with my MODEM LT V.92 1.0 MT5634ZPX-PCI-U INTERNAL
DATA/FAX/VOICE MODEM VERSION 1.32K LT V.92 1.0 MT5634ZPX-PCI-U Internal
Data/Fax/Voice Modem Version 1.32k/ when a data call is coming I got
May 30 19:26:28 ftb FaxGetty[6948]: ANSWER: DATA CONNECTION
May 30 19:26:28 ftb FaxGetty[6948]: GETTY: START "/sbin/mgetty -b -r
ttyS14", pid 7034
but the modem hangup !?
I have to set :
GettyArgs: "-s %s %l"
ModemSetupAACmd: AT+FAA=1
ModemType: Class2
For data calls but I have to make 2 calls before succeeded, the first
hangup, I got BUSY line, then the second call give me the login prompt.
I noticed that to MultiTech support but no answer !?
