[hylafax-users] opening recieved faxes via w2hfax and permissions

Hi all,

I just have Hylafax working on Suse Linux with w2hfax as client on Windows.
It is working perfect, but I have one problem.

On the client side (w2hfax) when I want to open a recieved fax, w2hfax hang. I checked the
permission on the recvq folder and discovered that only 'owner' (uucp)had rw rights.
Only for testing purpose, I've made root a member of 'uucp' which is the owner of the file.

Still I can't open the recieved faxes on the Windows client. So I chmod the recvq folder to 777
(what I said...it's for testing). This resulted that I could open the recieved faxes that are
currently in the recvq folder. new faxes have again only 'rw' right for the owner.

I don't like it to change the permissions on the folder every morning so my people can open the
faxes.

Does faxadduser solve my problem?
