[hylafax-users] faxalter cron script
Hi All,
I'm looking at a way to fix and reschedule stuck faxes with the faxalter
command.
I was planning to run a simple cron task that would check for any faxes
stuck in the queue longer than 30 minutes and then reschedule them.
The only problem i see is the faxalter command will ask for a password.
So .. I'm wondering how would I set up a "super fax" user that wouldn't
need to enter a password, so i could make this part of a automated script?
I've tried various alternatives in the hosts.hfaxd file, however
haven't manged to make a password free account?
Another alternative is I hard code the cron script with the password and
ftp into the server and issue the command from there, only I don't know
the commands to get the ftp fax server to alter the faxes?
Any suggestions?
Regards
Tony D
