The patch worked as intended.


One sender was sending a 3 page fax.
At the 1st try the 1st page was bad, so HylaFAX disconnected.
The sender noticed the error and retried; this time 1st and 2nd page
were OK, the 3rd (and last) was not, so HylaFAX disconnected without
MCF and the sender fax machine reported to the sender there was an
error so the sender phoned to the receiver to complete "by voice" the
missing stuff on the 3rd page.

So with this patch the sender knew something was wrong and could do
something about it, both sender and receiver happy.
