There are 4 PCI conexant modems installed. Is the only way to unwedged the modem restarting the linux? Is it what "resetmodem" script should do? I send a log to a more accurate help...thanks Apr 26 16:03:25 hylafax FaxGetty[4997]: ANSWER: FAX CONNECTION DEVICE '/dev/ttySHCF3' Apr 26 16:03:50 hylafax FaxGetty[9934]: RECV FAX (000001359): from 351 214268405, page 1 in 0:25, INF, 3.85 line/mm, 2-D MMR, 14400 bit/s Apr 26 16:04:08 hylafax FaxGetty[9951]: RECV FAX (000001359): from 351 214268405, page 2 in 0:17, INF, 3.85 line/mm, 2-D MMR, 14400 bit/s Apr 26 16:04:16 hylafax FaxGetty[9958]: RECV FAX (000001359): from 351 214268405, page 3 in 0:09, INF, 3.85 line/mm, 2-D MMR, 14400 bit/s Apr 26 16:04:25 hylafax FaxGetty[9964]: RECV FAX (000001359): from 351 214268405, page 4 in 0:08, INF, 3.85 line/mm, 2-D MMR, 14400 bit/s Apr 26 16:04:33 hylafax FaxGetty[9975]: RECV FAX (000001359): from 351 214268405, page 5 in 0:09, INF, 3.85 line/mm, 2-D MMR, 14400 bit/s Apr 26 16:05:28 hylafax FaxGetty[10008]: RECV FAX (000001359): recvq/fax000001272.tif from 351 214268405, route to <unspecified>, 5 pages in 2:03 Apr 26 16:05:36 hylafax FaxGetty[4997]: RECV FAX (000001359): session with 351 214268405 terminated abnormally: Failed to properly detect high-speed data carrier.
