Hi. What happens if you call the modem when using Minicom and without HylaFAX running ? Do you see ring ? Can you answer the call ? Can you even talk to the modem(s) ? If this is all working then you might consider using a newer version of HylaFAX as a first step. Regards ANDREW RINALDI Mainpine Ltd. I have tried both the MT2834ZDX (which works fine on the SCO system) and a new MT5656ZDX with similar results: the modem does not answer incoming fax calls. On the SCO/VSI*FAX system the CD, 28 and TR lights are lit on the MT2834ZDX but only the 28 and TR lights on the Linux/HylaFAX system. faxgetty has been enabled in /etc/inittab and is running along with hfaxd. faxstat indicates the HylaFAX Scheduler is not running. The faxaddmodem utility configured the MT2834ZDX as a Class 2 modem but the MT5656ZDX as Class 1. Any help or pointers would be appreciated. (I am new to HylaFAX.) Thank you, Lucky ____________________ HylaFAX(tm) Users Mailing List _______________________ To subscribe/unsubscribe, click http://lists.hylafax.org/cgi-bin/lsg2.cgi On UNIX: mail -s unsubscribe hylafax-users-request@xxxxxxxxxxx < /dev/null *To learn about commercial HylaFAX(tm) support, mail sales@xxxxxxxxx* ____________________ HylaFAX(tm) Users Mailing List _______________________ To subscribe/unsubscribe, click http://lists.hylafax.org/cgi-bin/lsg2.cgi On UNIX: mail -s unsubscribe hylafax-users-request@xxxxxxxxxxx < /dev/null *To learn about commercial HylaFAX(tm) support, mail sales@xxxxxxxxx*
