Hi all, I've been setting up a Hylafax-4.2.5-1rhel4 server on Centos4.2. So far so good. I can send and receive fax. But, I have some newbie questions: 1. Where can I get the received fax? In FaxDispatch it says that by default all faxes will be sent to Faxmaster, but who is Faxmaster? This is the log file when receiving fax: FaxGetty[3440]: ANSWER: FAX CONNECTION DEVICE '/dev/ttyS0' FaxGetty[4173]: RECV FAX (000000012): from 021 5669775, page 1 in 0:31, INF, 3.85 line/mm, 1-D MH, 9600 bit/s FaxGetty[4174]: RECV FAX (000000012): recvq/fax000000001.tif from 021 5669775, route to <unspecified>, 1 pages in 0:32 FaxGetty[3440]: RECV FAX: bin/faxrcvd "recvq/fax000000001.tif" "ttyS0" "000000012" "" FaxGetty[3440]: MODEM U.S. ROBOTICS 56K MESSAGE / 2. In FaxDispatch it is also stated that all fax will be automatically converted to PDF, but it seems that it still in tiff? 3. Is metamail required? I've tried to install metamail from hylafax FTP, but faild in building it. rpmbuild --rebuild metamail-2.7-29.src.rpm cc -c -I../. -O2 -g -pipe -m32 -march=i386 -mtune=pentium4 -I. -DLINUX shared.c shared.c:14: error: conflicting types for 'malloc' shared.c:14: error: conflicting types for 'malloc' make[1]: *** [shared.o] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/redhat/BUILD/mm2.7/src/metamail' make: *** [basics] Error 2 error: Bad exit status from /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.96162 (%build) RPM build errors: user darren does not exist - using root group staff does not exist - using root user darren does not exist - using root group staff does not exist - using root Bad exit status from /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.96162 (%build) Thanks for all the clues. -- Fajar Priyanto | Reg'd Linux User #327841 | Linux tutorial http://linux2.arinet.org 14:47:38 up 2:36, 2.6.15-1.1830_FC4 GNU/Linux Let's use OpenOffice. http://www.openoffice.org ____________________ HylaFAX(tm) Users Mailing List _______________________ To subscribe/unsubscribe, click http://lists.hylafax.org/cgi-bin/lsg2.cgi On UNIX: mail -s unsubscribe hylafax-users-request@xxxxxxxxxxx < /dev/null *To learn about commercial HylaFAX(tm) support, mail sales@xxxxxxxxx*
