Re: [hylafax-users] DID Routing
Pere Pie wrote:
Anyone has experience on DID (DDI) routing with Hylafax?
Yes.
I could not find detailed documentation about routing based on called
phone numbers. Is it possible in Hylafax?
Yes. It generally works just like Caller*ID.
Is there any kind of howto?
Yes. See:
http://hylafax.sourceforge.net/howto/using.php#ss3.6 (all the way at
the bottom)
And:
http://hylafax.sourceforge.net/man/hylafax-config.php (under
CallIDPattern)
And:
http://hylafax.sourceforge.net/man/faxrcvd.php
I'll have two lines which only receive faxes, and would like to send by
e-mail one line to one user and the other one to another one user.
Sounds to me like you just want to route based on which modem ($DEVICE)
receives the call.
It seems that the modem (hardware) has to support that feature, does
anyone know about which model could be compatible?
Depending on what type of DID you are getting your hardware will need to
support it, yes. But if you have one phone line connected to one modem
and another phone line connected to another modem, then you know the
number that was dialed by way of which modem was used to receive the call.
