[hylafax-users] Receive problems with MT2834ZDX modems

We're having problems receiving faxes from some senders.

The attached hylafax log shows a typical connection that fails,
which appears to say that the remote side is quitting.

I'm also attaching the config.ttyS0 configuration file.

The modem speed is set at 19,200.

The system is running SuSE 9.0 Professional on an Athlon XP2500+
(a bit faster than the system we used for hylafax for about 8
years -- a Pentium 75 running Caldera OpenLinux 1.3 :-).

I think I saw something on this list recently saying that the
MultiTech modems work better as Class 1, but haven't a clue on
how to test that.

Bagdikian's Observation:
Trying to be a first-rate reporter on the average American
newspaper is like trying to play Bach's "St. Matthew Passion"
	on a ukelele.
An attempt to receive facsimile on ttyS0 failed because:

T.30 T2 timeout, expected page not received
