Yes, that should work well on most mainstream distros. Eicon provide source-level RPMs that allow you to (re)compile their kernel module drivers and we've never had a problem with 2.6 kernels.

could someone tell me if Hylafax would runn on a Linux System with Kernel 2.6 and a Diva Server 4BRI ISDN card.

I have searched the mailing list and also the archives but I did not find the right answers.
