Hi there, I am trying to send a fax from python, just using modules (i.e. no GUI), from a separate machine (i.e. not the server). I have the file hfaxlib.py that appears to be a file to interface python to hylafax. This, I think, is exactly what I am looking for. I have succeeded in getting it to read a directory, but I was wondering if anyone had any example code of how to send a fax with this file? I also have the hylaproto.py file from the Pyla project, which I can get to "successfully" send a basic PDF to the server, but the file appears to be 0 size. I am not really attached to one module over the other. I was about to trudge through the files and see how to do it myself, but I figured it couldn't hurt to ask the list if anyone has any python code they wouldn't mind sharing that already does it. Ideally, I am looking for just a basic send of a PDF file to a single number, with an email confirmation to a supplied email address. Any help anyone can provide, would be greatly appreciated. Even a basic example would be a huge help! I have been trying to find the answer to this all over the place, and google comes up blank (at least with my search terms). Thank you again in advance for any help you can give me. ____________________ HylaFAX(tm) Users Mailing List _______________________ To subscribe/unsubscribe, click http://lists.hylafax.org/cgi-bin/lsg2.cgi On UNIX: mail -s unsubscribe hylafax-users-request@xxxxxxxxxxx < /dev/null *To learn about commercial HylaFAX(tm) support, mail sales@xxxxxxxxx*
