Re: [hylafax-users] Dialrules to add 1 and stop faxes with <=9 numbers

^[8]{1}.*$ = 1,&

which seems to not work. so my syntax may be wrong here.

My preference is to not do this in dialrules, but to do this to the modem configuration instead:

ModemDialCmd: ATDT1,%s

Another is, how can i stop jobs for being considered by Hylafax if they have 9 or less numbers. should they be in etc/destctrls?

Yes, DestControls.

same syntax to follow as etc/dialrules?

No, it's different. See 'man destctrls'.
