Re: [hylafax-users] fax to e-mail problem

I used the following files

faxrcvd and faxrcvd-mail

This emails the fax to me as a PDF.

Perhaps it is another alternative to consider?

Download/View the files here... http://www.hylafax.org/howto/faxrcvd/

You will also need a variable for FileType. I'm not able to access my server right now but if you will read the manpage on FaxDispatch you will find all the other details on this file. Also search the HylaFax website for more infor on FaxDispatch. This method works great for my server.

In my installation this file is not present: however, I have created this file (with only SENDTO specified), but it still doesn't work..

If I'm not mistaken, you need to set the SENDTO variable in

    /var/spool/hylafax/etc/FaxDispatch

This is the way I made Hylafax send PDF files to e-mail receipients.

Hi, I am a newbie of Hylafax, and I have this problem: I want to receive fax
in pdf format via email.
I have changed the parameter "SENDTO=" in faxrcvd file, but it still not
work. Hylafax receive the fax (As I can see from logs and in the recvq
folder), but there is no e-mail.
Another question: fax from client works well, but I cannot receive the
notify via email (using winprint hylafax).
I am using Debian 3.1 (qmail working installed), with hylafax installed by
apt-get.

Any suggestions?

Manuele
