[hylafax-users] hylafax with t.38 modem and cisco gateway

hi guys

i'm trying to send a fax through a cisco gw (version below) from a debian
box with
t38modem 0.8.0`20050304
libopenh323 1.15-3.2
hylafax-server 4.2.1-5

The cisco IOS version is

ROM: System Bootstrap, Version 12.3(8r)T7, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1)
ROM: Cisco IOS Software, 2800 Software (C2800NM-SPSERVICESK9-M), Version
12.3(8)T6, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc2)

i'm configuring one modem with t38modem with this options

t38modem -t o trace.log --old-asn -p /dev/ttyz0 -n --route all@ip_gw

the hylafax send a begining of conversation if i put -D T.38-UDP in the
t38modem switch, but only rings at fax and doesn't send it, i can see the
"too many attempts to dial" (but it rings at least)

if i launch the t38modem without the -D switch it's imposible to ring the
faxes or others telephones, i only receive a "Busy signal detected".
Taking a look in trace.log i saw that there is a lot of
"pseudoModemPty::openpty read error -1 input/output error"

i need t.38 for sending a fax? isn't? any clue?

thanks in advance,
