We have been using hylafax exclusively for receiving. There is now some interest in outbound faxing as well. I have the modem lines configured onto our PBX, so all (4) modems need to dial 9 for an outside line. I tracked down the ModemDialCmd reference in the hylafax-config man page, but I have a couple questions. Currently "ModemDialCmd" doesn't appear at all in any of my /etc/config.ttyZZZ files. I found several references that said I should uncomment it. Instead, do I just add the following: ModemDialCmd: ATDT9,%s@ And then what? Kill my faxgettys or do an init q to make the change? Or restart hylafax entirely? Since it does apply to all of the modems, is there somewhere else I should specify it (etc/dialrules?) and if so, what is the format? Advice appreciated.
