Because the -devel forum was the one in which it was specifically indicated 
that the beta2 release would NOT be recommended (and in fact not even 
announced) on -users. Sloppy patchwork quilt batching hacks combined with 
reckless announcement of your broken beta does not a responsible developer 
make.
