I don't know of any USB modems that work, but you can expand the number of serial ports you have with an add-on pci board such as the Lava Quattro-PCI (http://www.lavalink.com/index.php?id=766). I use this board myself and it works nicely with linux 2.4 and/or 2.6. The cards come in 1 port, 2 ports, 4 ports and 8 ports configurations.. Hope this helps, -steve ----- Original Message ----- From: "Giovanni Ramirez" <giovanni.ramirez@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <hylafax-users@xxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, June 02, 2005 6:34 PM Subject: (no subject) > Hi... > > Does anybody know about which USB modems work fine with Hylafax in the Mandrake 10.1 Official Distro? > > I've been working very well with serial modems in this distro, but I need to put more fax lines, and I've reached the serial port limit...... > > Thanks in advance...... > > -- > _______________________________________________ > Check out the latest SMS services @ http://www.linuxmail.org > This allows you to send and receive SMS through your mailbox. > > Powered by Outblaze > > ____________________ HylaFAX(tm) Users Mailing List _______________________ > To subscribe/unsubscribe, click http://lists.hylafax.org/cgi-bin/lsg2.cgi > On UNIX: mail -s unsubscribe hylafax-users-request@xxxxxxxxxxx < /dev/null > *To learn about commercial HylaFAX(tm) support, mail sales@xxxxxxxxx* > > ____________________ HylaFAX(tm) Users Mailing List _______________________ To subscribe/unsubscribe, click http://lists.hylafax.org/cgi-bin/lsg2.cgi On UNIX: mail -s unsubscribe hylafax-users-request@xxxxxxxxxxx < /dev/null *To learn about commercial HylaFAX(tm) support, mail sales@xxxxxxxxx*
