[hylafax-users] ACER Modem 56 Surf - error on receiving faxes

Hi,

I'm new to HylaFAX and this mailing list, therefore please advice me
whenever my approach to getting help is not OK.

I'm running HylaFAX v4.2.0 under SUSE 9.2 with an new purchased modem
called 'ACER Modem 56 surf'. It is an external/serial modem and I think
it complies only to class 1.

Sending faxes works fine but receiving is troublesome. It works fine 
till the end of the transmitted faxes, then the logfile records 
'Failure to receive silence' and the session stops. The sending machine 
gets no acknoledgement of successful transmission although the fax shows 
up in the recvq directory. I think that there is a problem with the config 
file, which is based on the standard class 1 configuration.

Please, could anyone provide a correct config file for theis modem or give 
a hint, where I can find the neccessary information?
