I have replaced the files, as you suggested, and now I can compile, but when
I send a fax it takes for ever and if you kill the job you get the next
error:
Assertion failed "Invalid frameNumber value.", file "Class1Send.c++" line
928
looks that there is something more wrong in the code related to MacOSX
compilation
This is the syslog trace,

A possible quick fix if you don't need HylaFAX for receiving data calls:
copy over the files faxd/GettyBSD.c++ and faxd/GettyBSD.h from 4.2.0 or 4.2.1
before compile.

Xavier,
Could you please post this information on:

Hopefully George can work out the problem. Meanwhile, try backing-out
the patch that is on that Bugzilla entry to see if that resolves the
matter for you. If it does, see if you can find out what it is that is
the problem with the recent changes.
Thanks.

Hello,
I downloaded snapshot 4.2cvs-2005-04-08 and when I 'make' I get the next
error
/usr/bin/g++ -D__ANSI_CPP__ -I. -I.. -I.././regex -I.././faxd
-I.././util -I/usr/local/include -g -O -x c++ -c GettyBSD.c++

make[2]: *** [default] Error 2

Version 4.2.1 compiles without errors. My is MacOSX10.3.8. Any clues ?

Hi Xavier,
Quoting Xavier Blanco <xavier@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>:
Look for a patch at
http://bugs.hylafax.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=643 that should fix
your problem.
How I can patch my source code version 421 to include this patch ?
You can either change to the faxd directory of your source code and run
patch < [your patch filename] (I forgot a step which makes you need to
change to that directory), or get the latest version from CVS which
already includes the patch. The CVS version can also be downloaded in a
tarball at ftp://ftp.hylafax.org/source/hylafax-SNAPSHOT.tar.gz (it is
updated once a day).
