Re: [hylafax-users] Who is using Eicon Diva Bri Card? Need your t ips!

We have been using an Eicon Diva 4BRI card for a while now.

What we found:

Using the eicon drivers (either from eicon or delware) provided us with
numerous problems and hassles that were difficult to track down and solve.

Instead we used the ISDN4Linux that is part of the 2.4 kernel series (I
havent managed to get a 2.6 kernel to work yet). If you search through the
list archives, I have posted previously how to get an Eicon card running
using the ISN4Linux and the /dev/ttyIx devices.

Sorry for the delay in replying, but Ive been on holidays. :)

tips!

Hi,

i am looking for people who can help me to set up my hylafax with an eicon
diva
bri card.

Current it is running with /dev/ttyds01 and receives faxes.

The bigger problem is the thing with sending faxes. He dials out but and
conneccts to the remote fax machine but then hylafax hangs up the
connection.

I need your help!

Thanks and regards, Kib
