the modem is a swan smart external running in class 1. no, there is no log file for the attempt, however, the sendfax does reach the hylafax quese and there is a q file in the sendq directory.

 

when it doesnt work, the modem does nothing at all.

Turn up the logging:

ServerTracing:          0xFFF
SessionTracing:         0xFFF

Then submit a job to hylafax with sendfax, send the log files, and maybe we can see whats wrong.
