[hylafax-users] destctrls RejectNotice not being sent to sendfax -w client

Hi list,

(system is RH9 with hylafax-4.2.1-1rh9.rpm but I don't think this 
question is specific to that platform or release)

I have a bunch of users sending faxes out via my hylafax server.  They 
are sloppy in updating their phone books (and not paying attention to 
failure e-mails) so they keep attempting faxes to certain fax numbers 
that are no longer valid (the number is out of service, no fax machine 
answers, etc).  To save modem time (not to mention long distance fees) 
I've added these bad numbers to destctrls, for example:

.*9445556677         RejectNotice = "no fax answers (checked 20050215)"

This RejectNotice shows up correctly in the faxstat -d output:

I would have expected the RejectNotice to also be shown in the output of 
"sendfax -w ..." but instead the error there is just "Unspecified reason 
(scheduler NAK'd request)" (see below).

Is this something that can be "fixed" or is there a good reason for it 
(like it really is not allowed in the protocol and has to remain that way)?
