Thank you Lee,

1. When I say "reliable modem" I mean a modem that will be able to
communicate reliably with most of the existing fax machines and fax 
modems. (99%)

2.  By "high-performance" I meant a modem capable of sending faxes at 
the highest possible speed.

I'll take a look at the analog modems listed bellow .(single line, 
analog modems)
