Hello Eben,

in the log I only see an incoming call which does not seem to connect  
anywhere.

Do you use capi4hylafax?

If yes, please show your config.faxCAPI.
Do you have a file /var/spool/hylafax/log/capi4hylafax?
(I don't use SuSE, it might be in a different directory.)
Show (relevant extracts of) this logfile.
