What I see is this... somewhere between the time when the above faxstat 
output was taken and the time when this faxstat output was taken...

And then all of the suspended jobs get killed while these jobs just sit 
there.

What's this?  What does your /var/spool/hylafax/etc/config file look 
like?

Anyway, it looks like something is wrong with your faxq.  How many 
instances of faxq are there?  Send the output of 'ps -e | grep fax'.

How did you perform your pre-4.2 installation?  How did you perform 
your 4.2 upgrade?
