Hi all,

2 Weeks ago I updated our 3 fax servers. I was told that faxes are being
received but occasionally having blank pages. I attempted to look in the
logs, but it looks like hylafax has stopped logging as of the date we
updated our servers. Thats issue one.
The other issue is the following messages received in

The modem is configured as class 2.0. My boss is convinced that we
had more problems with Class 1, even though it was on a much older
version of Hylafax.
Are these errors related to using class 2.0 on this modem? If so I
am sure he would listen to Lee (or anyone on the list for that matter)
because he knows what he's talking about.
Thanks much!!
Adam
To answer my own question, I found this post by Lee:
USR/3Com's Class 2.0 firmware has long since been severely flawed
and
they seem to not care to fix it - AND there's no way to upgrade it
easily if they did. Use Class 1 with USRs.
If this still applies, I will inform my boss tomorrow as a
"Have a nice holiday?" gift.
Thanks,Adam
