I had the customer repeat the test and he sees the lights on the modem come on indicating it's answering a call but still hears nothing. So if I dial the number voice and hear it answer or send a fax and hear my fax machine negotiating but there's no sound on the other end, what's up? A wiring or physical problem on the telco side?
