Hi Lee,

thanks for your quick answer.

I set up a 4.2.0 server on my notebook and tried again, but with the same
results.

I experimented with the
Class1TMConnectDelay
but no success

this goes on until the training fails
as far as I can interpret the log my modem and the remote fax machine try to 
find the same language.
My modem sends this "HDLC frames" the remote machine sends another one back,
my modem thinks the answer does not fit and tries another speed.


Class1TMConnectDelay: 200

the log file looks the same, except the delay is only 200 ms


Maybe anyone can give me a hint to get this problem solved
