[hylafax-users] ServerTracing not verbose enough
Hi, I'm trying to see the AT commands / responses and times involved in
initialising our modems for HylaFAX since 10-15 seconds is about half the
time each modem normally spends on the line to a remote fax machine...
Normally at startup I'll see..

However, I get nothing like the level of detail I'd expect from reading the
manpage of hylafax-config in the 'ServerTracing' section e.g.
Flag Area Description
1 (0x00001) Server Operation queue management and
general operation
2 (0x00002) FAX/IXO Protocol T.30 facsimile
protocol or IXO/TAP protocol
4 (0x00004) Modem Operations modem hardware
manipulation
8 (0x00008) Modem Communications comands passed
between host and modem
Am I doing something wrong?
The log I'm looking at is /var/log/syslog, and /etc/syslog.conf is configured
so that logfile receives all facilities at all severities.. so if it's really
being passed through the syslog mechanism, it should already be
in /var/log/syslog.
Cheers,
Gavin.
