Hello Christian,

I think I overlooked the "FaxSend".
Maybe your Hylafax does not use c2faxsend but hylafax' own faxsend. Check all your configuration files if your setting is overwritten somewhere.
Check the files in /etc/hylafax and /var/spool/hylafax/etc. You are supposed to change the files in /etc/hylafax, the cahnges will be copied to /var/spool/hylafax/etc by the startup script.

Nothing found in inittab

I think your inittab is OK.

You can change the value ServerTracing in your hylafax config file. Try
ServerTracing: 0x03FFFF
(default on my system was ServerTracing: 0x08501)
With this setting Hylafax will write more messages to syslog.
