Re: [hylafax-users] modem on /dev/ttyS2 appears wedged

Something I should add to this. I don’t use ttyS2.

My modems are configured as ttyR0, ttyR1 and so on.

Everything appears to be working ok however I am getting the email stating ttyS2 is wedged about every minute.

It really sucks when I leave for a while and come back to tons of email.

I really would appreciate any suggestions.

Subject: modem on /dev/ttyS2 appears wedged

Hi,

I have a Dell server with a Rocketmodem III 8 port modem card.

I am currently getting the wedged message on one of the modems.

I have powered down the server and restarted and this appears to not have fixed the problem. I am still getting the wedged message.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Steve
