Re: [hylafax-users] modem problem
Hi ,
You should try to add the command string in the config file of your modem,
generaly config.ttyS0 or something like that. In this file you can use
the command :
ModemResetCmds: to pass an init string to the modem.

Hello
Firstly I 'd like you to know that I appriciete a lot the effort that
you are making to bring a fully functional fax server system in the
*nix environment.
I am trying to set up a hylafax server on a slackware machine with the
.tgz package and I have a problem with my modem. It really is a common
problem here in greece (no dial tone) which on a normal dialup we bypass
with an atx3 init string (do not wait for a dial tone) on the modem.
I cannot find a way to do so on hylafax in which file should I place
such modem commands ?
I am using a class 1 serial v92 zoom fax modem
Any suggestions will be appricieted
