You may want to upgrade libtiff to 3.7.0. According to the Changelog: * libtiff/{tif_dirread.c, tif_jpeg.c, tif_luv.c, tif_ojpeg.c, tif_pixarlog.c, tif_write.c}: Handle the zero strip/tile sizes properly (Dmitry V. Levin, Marcus Meissner). But not knowing all the details involved, this is just a guess.
