Hello, I'm just trying to install the 4.2.0 release on a testmachine. This machine runs SuSE 9.1. Before this install I have upgraded ghostscript to version 8.01 and libtiff to version 3.7.0. They compiled ok as far as I can see. When I run make for the hylafax install, it runs in the following error. ln -sf libfaxutil.so.4.2.0 libfaxutil.so /usr/bin/gcc -D__ANSI_CPP__ -I. -I.. -I.././regex -I.././util -I.././util -I/usr/local/include -g -O -o faxmsg .././util/faxmsg.c -L../util -L../faxd -lfaxutil -Wl,-rpath,/usr/local/lib -L/usr/local/lib -L/usr/local/lib -ltiff -lz -L../regex -lregex ../port/libport.a -lcrypt -lutil ../util/libfaxutil.so: undefined reference to `jpeg_read_scanlines' ../util/libfaxutil.so: undefined reference to `jpeg_set_colorspace' ../util/libfaxutil.so: undefined reference to `jpeg_set_defaults' ../util/libfaxutil.so: undefined reference to `jpeg_start_decompress' ../util/libfaxutil.so: undefined reference to `jpeg_destroy' ../util/libfaxutil.so: undefined reference to `jpeg_std_error' ../util/libfaxutil.so: undefined reference to `jpeg_CreateDecompress' ../util/libfaxutil.so: undefined reference to `jpeg_write_raw_data' ../util/libfaxutil.so: undefined reference to `jpeg_suppress_tables' ../util/libfaxutil.so: undefined reference to `jpeg_abort' ../util/libfaxutil.so: undefined reference to `jpeg_read_header' ../util/libfaxutil.so: undefined reference to `jpeg_start_compress' ../util/libfaxutil.so: undefined reference to `jpeg_write_tables' ../util/libfaxutil.so: undefined reference to `jpeg_finish_decompress' ../util/libfaxutil.so: undefined reference to `jpeg_resync_to_restart' ../util/libfaxutil.so: undefined reference to `jpeg_CreateCompress' ../util/libfaxutil.so: undefined reference to `jpeg_finish_compress' ../util/libfaxutil.so: undefined reference to `jpeg_read_raw_data' ../util/libfaxutil.so: undefined reference to `jpeg_set_quality' ../util/libfaxutil.so: undefined reference to `jpeg_write_scanlines' collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make[3]: *** [faxmsg] Error 1 make[3]: Leaving directory `/root/downloads/hylafax-4.2.0/util' make[2]: *** [default] Error 2 make[2]: Leaving directory `/root/downloads/hylafax-4.2.0/util' make[1]: *** [dirs] Error 2 make[1]: Leaving directory `/root/downloads/hylafax-4.2.0' make: *** [default] Error 2 cmk02test01:~/downloads/hylafax-4.2.0 # Any help would be appreciated!
