Ok, I got the first problem fixed by changing the 
sendmail -ffax ...
to
sendmail -ruser@mydomain.

Now I would like to send the mail with the fax attached as pdf.
I copied the to files 
http://www.hylafax.org/howto/faxrcvd/faxrcvd-pdf
http://www.hylafax.org/howto/faxrcvd/faxrcvd-mail-pdf
into the folder. 
Then I altered the faxrcvd-pdf

And then changed the names as described.

But it doesn't work, what a'm I doing wrong ?

There is no FROMADDR but I think I should be able to edit this line

but it doesn't work and I don't get an error message any more.
I suspect that It append @linux.site to my user@xxxxxxxxxxxx so I get a
fucked up address like user@xxxxxxxxxxxx@linux.site which ofcourse is
rejected. But since it doesn't exist I don't get an error message.

dit the faxrcvd script and I think if you change the
var FROMADDR will solve your problem. I'm assuming
that you are using 4.2.0 release. If not, look at the
faxrcvd script for the FROM field.
