If were to sponsor the development.. to speed this along.. how much
are we looking at.. ball park figure.. as I need to run it by other
people..

Yes. The current pace on its development is whenever I have free time
and it's at the top of the list of the things that I want to do with
that time. If there are other developers that are working with that any
more, I don't know.
Also is the devel mailing list still active.. in the archive's I
only see posts from 2000..
The -devel list is active, it just hasn't been archived at hylafax.org
for a long time now.
