When a fax comes in, all you have is the caller's information (CID or TSI), which modem it rings on, and the image. There is currently no support in Hylafax for reading the image and determining the destination. You also should not wait for that functionality to be added: it will not happen soon, as it is very difficult. > I guess what i need is received faxes to be sent to the intended receipient via > there e-mail address without having to use TSI or the modem serial device but > to all intended people in a company of atleast 90 staff. If you want them sent to everyone, that's easy: just make an alias named faxmaster in /etc/aliases (or /etc/postfix/aliases if you use Postfix) with all of the addresses you want included and run newaliases. If you want to dispatch to individuals, DID (Dial In Direct) is another option: that gives you a block of phone numbers that all call through on one phone line. A DID modem can extract which number the caller dialed and can dispatch based on that. Without more information about what you're trying to do, I'm afraid that's all I can add! > Mailto nash@xxxxxxxxxxxx > > Thanks ____________________ HylaFAX(tm) Users Mailing List _______________________ To subscribe/unsubscribe, click http://lists.hylafax.org/cgi-bin/lsg2.cgi On UNIX: mail -s unsubscribe hylafax-users-request@xxxxxxxxxxx < /dev/null *To learn about commercial HylaFAX(tm) support, mail sales@xxxxxxxxx*
