Thanks to all who have responded. I chose to use enscript to pre-orient the file before passing it to sendfax. It all works like a charm. Now, (and I know this may be a bit off-topic for this group) does anyone know if it is possible to merge a form template with ascii data prior to faxing? We have pre-printed forms that I would like to recreate in postscript, and then overlay with ascii data prior to faxing. The application here is to be able to fax a copy of an invoice that was originally printed on a pre-printed form.
