problem is after failed call, modem isnt getting correctly reset.. faxstat 
shows running and idle, but the DID line hasnt cycled properly, and the 
light indicating DID stays lit..

this is still 4.1.8 running in class 1.0 mode, so dont think V.34 is an 
issue since all calls are either 14400/9600 (or worse)

www.mailscanner.info .. its a tag that it adds to the bottom of all 
messages sent thru our mailserver.. what it implies is that the email i 
send has been scanned for all current/known viruses with up to the hour 
virus definition updates, and in this case, with 2 different virus 
detection packages/all updated/etc.
