Mehmet,

I set up a test to make one fax machine constantly send 1 page jobs to
my HylaFAX server.  In the /var/log/messages file I saw this:
FaxGetty[3087]: /dev/ttyS4: Can not initialize modem.

I then set ServerTracing to 0xffffffff and a few minutes later saw this:
FaxGetty[3087]: <-- [9:AT+FRM=?\r]
FaxGetty[3087]: --> [4:RING]
FaxGetty[3087]: Error parsing "+FRM" query response: "OK"
FaxGetty[3087]: MODEM set DTR OFF
FaxGetty[3087]: /dev/ttyS4: Can not initialize modem.
FaxGetty[3087]: STATE CHANGE: RECEIVING -> MODEMWAIT (timeout 30)

Is this similar to what you're seeing?  I'm going to try the advice
given here: http://www.hylafax.org/archive/2004-07/msg00362.php to see
if that helps.

When this happens is faxgetty running?
