I want to say that only the string to transmit fax work well, while that one for the reception does not work I use the string, Class1RMQueryCmd: "!3,24", but modem tries to receive to 14400 and the call goes down. To test the line and modem I have tried to send a fax to 2400bps from an other hylafax server, with command sendfax -B 2400, and the modem receive correctly to 2400. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Lee Howard" <faxguy@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: "Ufficio tecnico Acknow S.r.l." <ufficiotecnico@xxxxxxxxx> Cc: <hylafax-users@xxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, July 23, 2004 5:54 PM Subject: Re: [hylafax-users] baud rate > On 2004.07.23 07:56 Ufficio tecnico Acknow S.r.l. wrote: > > > In HylaFAX version 4.2.0 I use, like suggested, this string > > Class1RMQueryCmd: "!3,24" but it does not work correctly in fact when > > I send a fax i can set the the baud rate with string Class1TMQueryCmd: > > "!3.24" ,but when i try to set the baud rate in order to receive with > > string Class1RMQueryCmd: "!3.24" the modem receive to 14400 bit/s. > > Can you help me? > > I don't understand what you're trying to say. > > Class1RMQueryCmd should influence reception speeds. > Class1TMQueryCmd should influence transmission speeds. > > So if you're concerned about only receiving faxes, then you only need > to set: > > Class1RMQueryCmd: "!3,24" > > in your modem config file with HyaFAX 4.2.0.
