This is what i've got at '{/etc/hylafax, 
/var/spool/hylafax/etc}/config.ttyS1' (this is the sole modem on the 
system, and it's at '/dev/ttyS1') :

 Try entering: 

Class1SwitchingCmd:     "<delay:7>" 

  

it tried this _BEFORE_ i went to call for help on here...

but it did not work... it just made my HylaFAX reject all fax calls.  (and yes, i did restart HylaFAX... using '/etc/init.d/hylafax')

into your config.ttyS1 file. Also, I believe xonxoff is better with some
of these modems than rtscts.
  

that's might be, but my modem (Cirrus-Logic CL-MD34xx) has 'rtscts' as it's Default config.

help somebody ?
