HylaFAX The world's most advanced open source fax server |
Hello, This is probably a newbie question but i haven't found anything that could help in the FAQ or archive. I build HylaFax version 4.1.8 from Source on a SuSE 9.0. I also build pwlib, openH323 and t38modem from source. Then i created a modem with this line: t38modem -g <gatekeeperIP> -u t38fax -p ttyx1 -tttt I use a gatekeeper and PBX from a german VoIP manufacturer (innovaphone IP400) I tested the modem with the cu command and thought it worked fine... Then i run faxsetup and faxaddmodem. The latter accepted the T.38modem as a Class1 modem. So far so good, i saw in the t38modem's output that hylaFay and the t38 seemed to communicate just fine. Now when i try to send a fax with: sendfax -d <anyfaxnumber> /home/josef/testpage.ps, it calls up the remote faxmachine but cant complete the Handshake. I tested this with a Canon Fax machine and a USR Sportster Faxmodem. Here's the Hylafax Session Log: Apr 28 14:49:19.60: [ 3212]: SESSION BEGIN 00000074 4311315 Apr 28 14:49:19.60: [ 3212]: HylaFAX (tm) Version 4.1.8 Apr 28 14:49:19.60: [ 3212]: SEND FAX: JOB 26 DEST
