Luca, The Multi-Tech modems seem to be a favorite. This page will help you decide: http://www.hylafax.org/HylaFAQ/Q003.php You can find very good modems for use with HylaFax on Ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=14920&item=3475131245 &rd=1 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=51057&item=3475778989 &rd=1 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=14920&item=3475839781 &rd=1 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=3693&item=3475828037&; rd=1 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=14920&item=3475838930 &rd=1 ... many many more. The beauty of buying on ebay, is that for most people a 33.6 modem is throw-away junk. Whereas they make excellent modems for a fax server. Buy 2 or 3 at $10 each, and keep a spare!
