[hylafax-users] Problems with hylafax 4.1.8 and answering
Hello,
I got the following setup right now:
RedHat 8 with a Patton 2977 card (ex-Digi DataFire T1/PRI 23/24
channels)
Hylafax 4.1.8
After some fighting with the driver provided (Patton never updated it
since buying it from Digi) I got the card to work and I can send out
faxes fine.
But I got two problems incoming. One is probably not hylafax related but
phone company or hardware related (call number on PRI, it rings, never
stops, even if you hang up. Try to answer it, get NO DIALTONE and it
stops ringing).
But the second problem is something in Hylafax. I got the modems
configured as Class 2:
ModemType: Class2 # use this to supply a hint
ModemRate: 38400
ModemFlowControl: rtscts
ModemNoFlowCmd: AT&K0
ModemSoftFlowCmd: AT&K4
ModemHardFlowCmd: AT&K3
Class2APQueryCmd: none # not available
ModemAnswerCmd: AT+FCC=,,,,1;A
When I get a call, it sees the RING but immediately does "Ring detected
without successful handshake.":
