Hi,
I read some documentations in Hylafax's archive about sending PDF
attachments via e-mail (faxmail).
By e-mail, yes, but definitely not by faxmail. Most likely you're
referring to someone who "wrote their own" mail-to-sendfax converter.
Now, I don't understand....
Hylafax can hold PDF, PS, ASCII, TIFF _but_ faxmail olny PS and ASCII.
HylaFAX (hfaxd) can natively handle PDF, PS, and TIFF. But sendfax can
submit ASCII as well as anything else for which it has a converter to
change the original document into PDF, PS, or TIFF. Yes, faxmail does
only handle PS and text.
There's a way for sending fax via e-mail with PDF attachments using
faxmail
????
Not without changing the faxmail source code.
