I Have the same card and have just set it up ok (in the end - thanks guys!) Firstly - I used the driver from the eicon website (diva server for linux - version 6.3).You will need to follow the instructions and run a config script once you have installed the rpm. I did not use the melware download. I tried using the capi4hylafax but that didn't work so in the end used addmodem to add two adapters (one for each channel). I used /dev/ttyds01 and /dev/ttyds02 - these are the ttydevices supplied by the eicon drivers. As far as I could see /dev/ttyI* is supplied by the isdn4linux package and not the eicon server package. I may be wrog about that tho. I did try setting it up on /dev/ttyI* initially and got nowhere too. Hope this helps, Sam -----Original Message----- From: Philipp Strube [mailto:pstrube@xxxxxxx] Sent: 19 December 2003 16:18 To: hylafax-users@xxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [hylafax-users] Eicon Diva Server BRI-2m Card I am trying to set up a fax server using hylafax the drivers from www.melware.net and the Diva Server BRI-2M Adapter from eicon. The Driver seems to work, and i can tell hylafax using the faxaddmode script to use /dev/isdn/ttyI0 as a device. Which somehow seems to work too, it then tests the speed tells something about the fclass of the device could not be determined and asks me if i want to add a new faxmodem. I am quite new to this and now my first question is: What went wrong? I read something about fclasses and that the diva Server should support AT+FCLASS=2 but why does the script not detect this? The second thing is when i log the isdn events with the log tool coming with the diva drivers from melware i get a message telling: D-X(004) 00 B9 01 01 D-R(004) 02 B9 01 01 D-X(004) 02 B9 01 01 D-R(004) 00 B9 01 01 D-R(004) 02 B5 01 29 D-R(024) 02 FF 03 08 00 62 1C 02 95 81 97 03 02 81 81 04 01 81 05 02 00 76 0A 00 D-R(061) 02 FF 03 08 01 01 05 A1 04 03 80 90 A3 18 01 89 28 11 53 74 72 75 62 65 20 50 68 69 6C 2E 20 46 75 6E 6B 34 01 40 6C 0C 21 80 31 37 32 32 39 34 35 30 30 39 70 03 81 32 33 7D 02 91 81 MORE SIG-R(058) 08 01 01 05 A1 04 03 80 90 A3 18 01 89 28 11 53 74 72 75 62 65 20 50 68 69 6C 2E 20 46 75 6E 6B 34 01 40 6C 0C 21 80 31 37 32 32 39 34 35 30 30 39 70 03 81 32 33 7D 02 91 81 Q.931 CR01 SETUP Sending complete Bearer Capability 80 90 a3 Channel Id 89 Display 53 74 72 75 62 65 20 50 68 69 6c 2e 20 46 75 6e 6b Signal 40 Calling Party Number 21 80 '17229xxxxx' Called Party Number 81 '23' HLC 91 81 SIG-X(008) 08 01 81 45 08 02 80 95 Q.931 CR81 DISC Cause 80 95 'Call rejected' D-R(022) 02 FF 03 08 00 62 1C 02 95 81 97 02 02 32 33 04 01 80 05 02 01 5F D-R(024) 02 FF 03 08 00 62 1C 02 95 81 97 03 02 81 81 04 01 80 05 02 00 76 0A 00 D-R(024) 02 FF 03 08 00 62 1C 02 95 81 97 03 02 81 81 04 01 80 05 02 00 76 0A 00 ------------------ Calling Party Number 21 80 '17229xxxxx' <-- this actually is the telephone number i am calling from. But why does the card reject the call? Do i need to tell hylafax to accept the call, or has it nothing to do with hylafax that the card says: Cause 80 95 'Call rejected'... I hope i am not off-topic to this list, and someone can help me. If you need any further information i will of course do my best to give them to you. And if anyone maybe has hylafax running with a diva server card, maybe he could send me his config files, so i can see how it should look like... anyway thanks in advance. at least for reading.
